Only boss I had trouble with was the Walker of Illusions which took me a whole bunch of tries, besides that it didn't feel significantly harder than other games. The first proper souls-like game I've played, I did play Expedition 33 a shit load before it and got really good at watching animations and pressing the "don't take any damage" button, but most of the game is pretty much trivial once you can do that. Don't think I used the cube thing or the soul helper guys even once outside of the very first boss where they're available just to see what it does.
