The ICO song for example, nobody is slapping that lyric set together for a game they don't know very well and care deeply for. I think it's very surface level to assume anyone familiar with Balatro (which is a lot of people, much more than something like Vib-Ribbon) will get the joke about Wheel Of Fortune. I think going for flavor over generic enough to not say anything about the topic is usually the right call, but it's not my art so it's up to them.
