I was literally discussing game theory with it last night, particularly about how on earth people can even begin to make games like Pseudoregalia, which to me seem like literal black magic from a design perspective. The moral of the story is that designing a game around movement makes it so that it doesn’t really matter how complex you make your game’s terrain; the entire game being built around something that is fun to control makes the rest of the design puzzle a lot less daunting.Obviously that’s a lot easier said than done, but you’re definitely wrong about an LLM’s ability to discuss design.
