Achievements are now sorted into sets. DLC you don't own no longer counts towards achievement progress, and developers can archive achievements that are no longer attainable.

The core issue with achievements is that the vast majority of them are completely arbitrary from the devs and a large part of them in any game shouldn't be called "achievements" to begin with.Having an achievement for beating the game is good especially if the game is relatively hard, having an achievements for beating 10 ennemies or playing for 5 hours is completely worthless.What is worse is people gaslighting themselves they haven't finished a game without getting 100% of achievements which is fundamentally retarded.You could finish Hollow Knight without using a single nail upgrade, it's definitely an achievement by all metric considering it's both hard and not recommended to do but it's not considered an achievement by the list the devs made up. However getting a charm is an achievement, something anyone that touches the game has to obtain because you're given one automatically.
