>>749837728What makes it the best?I've played about 10 hours and so far my gameplay is just rescuing a bunch of craftspeople to loiter around my base, 90% of the gameplay is the exact same. The combat is meh and the magic system completely blows and is unintuitive. The skill tree is insanely uninspired and you can't really make any interesting builds ("battlemage" tree just has some wand talents instead of staves, big whoop)Also, I did default settings and it's by far the easiest one in terms of challenge. Enemies barely pressure you.

Handcrafted world is actually counter productive to the survival genre. The whole point of survival is not knowing where things are.

I like the vegetation. It's good forest slop.
For some reason the 1.0 patch made it so I cant assign R1 to an action slot anymore.Also if theres one thing I really hate about Enshrouded its the lack of flat land so it pushes you to renovate an existing town instead. Except theres fucking rubble everywhere and the way the game tries its hardest to make that rubble blend into everything in unclear ways is obnoxious. It makes simple renovating tasks annoyingly hard because I cant tell wtf Im looking at half the time and "I want to replace this broken down spot" becomes "Welp, now I need to replace the entire wall" all the time. I dont like Minecraft but it definitely doesnt have this problem.

In terms of concept at least I should like Dragonwilds the best.I like Elder Scrolls style exp where you get specific job exp for doing that thing. What Dragonwilds is missing is content and execution.

I still have no idea why this game isn't getting more attention. Any time I play a generic survival game like palworld, valheim, windrose etc with friends I always look forward to clearing dungeons with friends only to find every single dungeon in those games a generic copy paste or randomly generated boring as sin cave. Meanwhile there's finally a survival craft game that has extensive and intricate dungeons that are actually rewarding to clear and it barely causes a blip compared to palworld. Maybe it's just that I like rpgs over survival craft?

Some people liked it more because it was somewhat hard and punishing, others liked the complete freedom of a sandbox, others just liked the building system more. It's not a Valheim Vs Enshrouded, they are very different games, high chances are there won't be many people who like them both equally, usually it's either one or the other.
