The scenario in Detroit was extremely unrealistic. The androids were essentially White people that you can buy an infinite number of. I personally think they wouldn't be for sale. They would definitely be used, but the price would be like buying a lambo or some shit, and it would be completely out of reach for regular people.
The reason for this would be that the androids would too easily replace any kind of menial worker. Someone who delivers food? The android does a better job. That means you wouldn't even want your android around poor people. It would be like asking for the price of a White person. You can't even give a price. Luxury sports car would make sense, though.
