many, many years ago, 4chan was a contemporary to a website known as SomethingAwful forums
SA hated anime and had a containment board for anime only with a cringe reddit name for it
even that was not enough and anime was so popular the jannies there eventually had to delete that forum out of spite
Thus came m00t (pbuh) who created this website, and allowed anime on it
and all the disgruntled exSA users who got banned came flocking to this website and made it what it is
we owe the existence of the best place of the internet to anime
