Swarm the field with weaker monsters is better than failing multiple times to summon a higher one. The game being entirely tied to RNG and being hit with turns where you didn't summon anything alone busts the game from being enjoyable. If they could take Duelists of the Roses and mix it with DDM, so that there was more user control in summoning, then it would be a bit better. I'd rather just get a revamped Duelist of the Roses format that makes it less about rushing beatsticks and a bit more strat.

Compared to dragon fetish skills, at least Frenchie's lets you experiment with a bunch of different extenders and enboards instead of being an insular "I summon Blue/Galaxy Eyes x4 -> Set 2 -> End". It's Synchro, Xys and Link support that's compatible with Nekroz so it accomodates Ritual as well. It's still broken as hell. It's just far more interesting to see a skill that's too applicable than one that's linear but broken. I'd take this over Agents and Chronicle any day.
