Well apologies for the defeat. We had to win to promote so we ran aggressive tactics which exposed the defence but helped the offense. Plan was to score early and then go to normal tactics but we kept on missing. The VGL banned running 4-4-2 and 4-3-3 formations so we had to run a shitty 1 striker formation. At this stage I'm not sure if I have in me to sign up again but hey we'll see in five months. We signed up back in 2016 for VGL six for something to do while waiting for Rance VI to be released. Eight years is a lot longer than I expected. Next VGL will be on a different version of PES where we had a bit more sucess.
Rance must grab the team and start grinding those levels like the entire continents depends on it. Without training we will shatter for real... in 6 months...

Also this information is not in the thread so for Ctrl F folks out there playing sengoku.The best way to farm points is either Kenshin or Ran route on 5 star difficulty. Both can be cleared in less than 50 turns without even hard minmaxing and guides. And with guides you can go as low as 30 something turns. 5 star difficulty gives 200 points at the start - ~50 turns = ~150 points for simply beating the route normally without doing anything to get more. Story route can't even compare.

Gyokai has more than enough reason to never return to work with Alicesoft ever again, especially when they had him for 14 years and only getting to work in 3 games as a lead artist, After Dohna Dohna they were going to leave him in the backseat again for the next 5 years again (outside from occasional Beat gacha characters maybe) so it's a good thing he left. It's the same reason Ittenchiroku left because they weren't allowing his ideas to come to fruition.

Something I've realized, Rance Quest's promotional tagline doesn't make sense, "An rpg without the world on the line" sure, but why does it make it look like the world was on the line in most of the games, It wasn't in 1,2,4,5,7 and nowhere before X.

i have no clue wtf i'm doing on rance 10. first play through kaybliss demon king ending cause i didn't save miki, 2nd playthrough after turn 8 got stuck in japan and literally locked away from the continent presumably cause i didn't help free city?playthrough 3, got sent to japan on turn 8 but managed to come back to land and dug back in but by then lost 2/4 of the cities then lost in the demon king of another world ending because tanks are too strong so ended up with the ending where everyone dies to alyce.Now i'm looking it up and people are saying there's double suppressions as a thing idk how i never saw it in my playthroughs besides the one at zeth am i blind or something?
