I have a really strong break effect main party with firefly, ruan mei, HMC, gallagher but i had no secondary party so I decided to make a DoT party as it was all I could make from the scraps I had. I built sampo, guinaifen, serval, asta, gave them relics with effect hit rate and tons of attack/elemental damage. they do legitimately zero damage, their dots do zero damage they are completely useless. is it just impossible to play DoT without kafka+black swan or something? The "f2p" party recommendations I've seen slot these characters in even though its unplayably bad. Not even max equilibrium yet.

That is why PF gave the action advance to enemies, it's psuedo detonation to help non-Kafka dot teams. If you want to play a 4* dot without BS or Kafka, best bet is to go super break. Sampo deals a lot of toughness damage so great there, especially when he has E4 to detonate his break dot. Luka is also good, high toughness damage and detonates the HP-scaling bleed break dot. Gui can work since she gets some BE for free, but generally weaker than the other options.t.anon who has been playing Kafka since her release and has a thief and prisoner break set for my 4* dots
