It should have just been a regular casual mode instead of what it is.The only reason I'm not super critical of it is because if you can clear medium and 36* abyss, you are getting more primos than when it was JUST abyss, so they're not really reducing primo income but that doesn't make anything about IT fun.

It's the buffs that I find the most disappointing. In other games with similar modes, buffs can be pretty game changing. I assume most of you at least tried out Honkai Star Rail, so you know what kind of fun buffs you can get in Simulated Universe. And it's not just that game. In Snowbreak, for example, the roguelike mode has a buff that gives you a shield that protects you for up to 5% of your maximum health and it stacks up to 20 times, whenever you do damage, but you lose a stack every second. Combine that with another buff, that makes you do increased damage, but every time you do damage, you also lose health yourself, so you get a wacky situation where you're constantly at like 1% health but literally cannot die because you have a massive shield absorbing all damage. Or a buff that gives you increased damage based on how many bullets you have left, which combined with a buff that triples your bullet count and recharges 20% of your ammunition every couple of seconds, meaning not only do you do ridiculously high amount of damage, you also literally never have to reload. This is just completely gamebreaking and makes playing the mode extremely fun. And what do we get? "All your characters regain 10 energy after you press Q four times" buff? Pathetic. Another thing all of these games have, even WuWa, which doesn't have a permanent roguelike mode but instead had one as a temporary event, is talent trees. You do the roguelike mode, you get a special currency, you spend that currency to get more buffs within that mode. From generic ones like higher health and higher damage, to more fun ones like higher movement speed, it makes progressing through the mode feel rewarding as you're constantly strengthening your account power.
