For the Magic Knight guy, Carrian Thrusting Shield and a Sword in the Main Hand just looks fun. I have a theory that the final boss was supposed to be Godwyn but they ran out of time. Apparently they had to really rush to finish this DLC.My theory is that Bandai convinced them to go for a big one instead of a small DLC and it stretched them way too thin. So they had to scramble to fix the original plot and story, likely cutting a few bosses and reusing whatever they could.Still, very impressive for something that is $40 in 2024.

I had so much fun doin everything from exploring and killing bosses and just enjoying myself and im just confused.and its not a honey moon phase, ive played the dlc 4 times, start to finish and i think it doesnt have the same problems the main game has in terms of replayability because the bosses are so close to eachother that you can go boss to boss where in the main game you gotta go through liurnia to get to the grand lift then you gotta go allll the way back through caelid to get to radahn just alot of running around. But the dlc isnt like that for me, maybe the only time i felt like that in my playthroughs was with the fingers, and MAYBE the cerulean coast but I wasnt bored out of my mind doing it.ive played all the souls games except for ds2 and demon souls and idk.
