I genuinely dont think its possible to beat Consort Radahn. It doesn't seem to matter what weapons, equipment, tailsmans, etc, I use, I just lose. The fight is so boring to begin with, I can get him to phase 2 without even taking damage most of the time. Just the sheer stupidity of the fight is making me want to give up. It's just rollspam for 5 minutes until you get your 1 single attack opening, then back to rollspam. If you make any single mistake you are guaranteed to take 60+% of your HP bar (regardless of buffs) and the fight is basically over at that point and you might as well restart. Not even counting or mentioning the insane amount of AOE bullshit in phase 2 at all times.Seriously, I just don't get it. I don't see how you can win, it's just tedious memorization until you no-hit win. It sucks.

But so will increasing my scadau level, switching gear, using a consumable buff, casting a buff, etc. I think maybe with some giga autism someone could make the argument that 99 STR with X buffs will take X fewer jump attacks to clear a boss vs 66 STR but I doubt the difference would be higher than like 2.I'm not sure exactly how damage calculation works so I don't know if some stuff prefers to work off the base AR of your weapon rather than the total AR non-buffed. If total AR without buffs is factored into something significant then maybe there's an edge case where 99 STR is useful, maybe with a specific ash of war

Some moves can oneshot you and have no hurtbox while others like Miquella's Light, his grab or his tornado gravity gapcloser are easy to avoid and have gigantic punish windows which both encourages AI abuse and makes winning feel overly dependent on 'lucky patterns'. If Radahn spammed the 1-2-cross slash the fight is artificially much harder than one where he spams grabs.
