I play like an absolute degenerate idiot and I still almost beat the level 30 one. Uh I don't know I definitely feel like things as I'm getting further into the game are getting a bit more because I'm seeing enemies I didn't see before. The level scaling and the lack of upgrades is coming into play.So yeah my first impressions aren't great. I think a lot of the combat is unsatisfying. I feel like a lot of the time when I'm fighting stuff I'm not in control. I know I am in control but when I played genshin the rotation of the characters felt like I'm going to apply some hydro and VAPE IT OFF. I'm going to suck them up with venti pop my xiangling, pop my xingqiu, it felt like a really meaningful thing, I chose when I wanted to pop my ultimate, all the different characters had ultimates, it felt.... deeper. It felt more satisfying.

But there's also Rally Commission which is an exploration mode fully in 3d where you can actually earn the premium roll currency from hidden chests and challenge fights. It's not a lot per run, but it's pretty nice as an option. Plus the nature of the action combat makes all this endgame stuff a bit less rote IMO. There are also hard mode time attacks that open up for all the story content that have another set of first time rewards.
