Got a 50/50 FTH/INT build, and I have to say, incants seem to be way better than sorceries for the most part. Sure, there are some standout sorceries like zamor ice storm or slicer (I'd still rather use a weapon), but incants just seem to do more damage, be more versatile, and all around more stylish. >>486882014Deal with sorceries is that you have to go all in. Pump INT up to 70, power stance staffs, and wear all the magic boosting equipment, then it fucking destroys. Incants don't scale into the high end as well as sorceries (worse equipment and scaling), but they have a higher floor for usability and allow you to make a very viable hybrid build. In fact, the game basically encourages you to pump DEX as an incantation build because incants benefit greatly off of increased cast released (whereas sorceries generally have long windups but quick releases for spells, meaning that DEX is less helpful).
