Okay, so, played it for long enough. Very challenging modpack. Doesn't hold your hand. It's also basically not Skyrim due to all the changes. The removal of essentially all the quests (with a few very noteworthy exceptions) makes the world feel very dead. With the fact that there's random groups of enemies wandering around, bosses in specific locations, randomized loot, and a clear path of progression, I'd say it's not so much a Skyrim type RPG so much as a Diablo dungeon crawl, if that makes any sense. This definitely isn't going to be a modpack that becomes your go-to. It's a giant quest, basically. However I think you guys'd enjoy it from start to finish (or at least mid way) before uninstalling it and going back to whatever pack you were using before.Also, there's at least 5GB of unnecessary mods in this shit, but it at least made the world look very pretty. Not entirely sure why they felt the need to add in Discord Rich Presence.

I was testing different Breezehomes and now it's permanently messed up like this. I know many people hate Avowed (and any other non-Todd RPG), but I hope it succeeds, that its systems and mechanics are satisfying, and that the writing isn't too typical of post-Avalone Obsidian cringe while Bethesda writing is bland and forgettable, it doesn't actually try to be good or do anything so never stands out as annoying like some of Obsidian's. It's going to be a long time before TESVI, and Starfield was the most nothing post-Daggerfall game I've ever played from Todd. I hope Avowed will give me my TES fix without some of the downsides that modern Beth design has, maybe something like Enderal with an actual budget. Though looking at Obsidian's last open world doesn't fill me with much hope.

Morrowind playthrough still going well. Updated my character's look. Been playing Battlespire a lot too, so I've been collecting all the weapons and armor that references that game in Morrowind. Got the Daedric Crescent, Spear of Bitter Mercy, and Savior's Hide. All this gear is really powerful, so i think this will be my loadout to beat the main quest with. Our lizard friend here has come a long way since he stepped out of that prison ship.

I admit, playing like this is pretty fun.To explain, I have a mod that will give my cat an ability, but I have to make it first. I need flawless gems and ore. The only way to do that is to just go and mine. I also have a geological survey map of Skyrim to help. So there's a lot of aimlessly wandering around instead of just rolling my fat ass over dungeons forever and zooming through the main quest. I also have Experience. So I'm literally leveling by exploring. For the life of me, I don't know why someone thought tying experience to skill use was fine. It's been a problem in every single TES game. It was kind of fine in Morrowind cause you could game the system and get around it's huge issues, but this is just better. Sometimes the wheel is not to be reinvented, I guess.
