I think one of the most random rules of this game is the difference between states of being and Cards.>monsters and Monster Cards are different>Pendulums are not Spell Cards, they are Monster Cards but when placed in the scale they are Spell Cards AND Monster Cards>Traps can summon themselves as monsters, but they are sometimes not Traps but are still Trap Cards but are NOT Monster Cards>also old cards use the term Spell/Trap Card but they don't mean it the way that modern PSCT does so get fucked just know the differenceThis is also why cards that become Spells/Traps don't activate that way, because that implies that its a Card and not just entering a state of being. You can have monsters SET themselves as Spells/Traps, you can have monster PLACE themselves as Spells/Traps, because saying activate fucks the whole thing

After much more testing I think this version of the deck works pretty well. Though depending on the hand you can get Insect locked fairly early in so it can make some extenders not lead into much of anything sometimes.
