I don’t like how they changed Basil’s characterization in the manga. In the game, Basil’s more anxious and his guilt’s more palpable around Sunny, and he knew that what he did to Mari was very much wrong, so much that he couldn’t even look Sunny straight in the eye. Here, it feels like he’s moved on from what he did and only got bothered again when he learned that Sunny’s going to leave.
