what skin textures do people recommend nowadays
I like the Dragonborn Ascendant modpack because it both strengthens your shouts and lets you use them more often in a way that feels very organic, fun and useful. It synergizes with a lot of other shout and dragon mods, particularly those that overhaul the Speech tree to confer Shout bonuses although you become so OP that I find installing harder dragon mods is usually required. But at the same time, it feels more lore friendly to assblast drauger with a single shout than to have the game be "hard" by slapping their asses with a sword a few more times before they die. Nord Tongues should be OP.

Ostim is superior to sexlab and the only issue I had with it was the folks who worked on it. The community had a civil war and broke off into Osex vs NG. The devs kept releasing breaking changes. It was a shitshow, but Ostim SA is on the right track.

It's true that the vast majority of NPCs it adds tell you their life story when you first meet them and it's also true that the vast majority of them are uninteresting. More often then not, you find yourself ending the conversation as soon as you discover they are a 3DNPC, but there are a handful of gems in there. It isn't just an NPC mod, it adds new quest, items, followers, romance partners, boss battles, and spells. 3 of the stories in particular had really good writing, more so than any vanilla quest. Eventually you're going to run out of stuff to do in your playthrough, the 3DNPC adds more life to the world and you can do them when you feel like it.

I'm starting to realize I don't really care for quest mods anymore. I'd be happy just having a active world spamming radiant quest/Missives rather than playing through a quest mod. The only quest mod I enjoyed "recently" was Sirenroot. I think I enjoy more Vanilla quests than modded.
