I think one aspect that felt a little flat about the final arc in Omori is it seemed like a regression to Sunny idealizing his childhood.The setup of the game is that Omori seems to have a perfect relationship with his friends and sister, and then in the first two real world segments that's thrown into question. We see that his friends in the real world have fallen apart and hold resentments.Then in the final act, we have them coming back together, and giving Sunny the strength to confront both the truth and Basil. But I think in the process, it goes back to just saying "Sunny had a perfect childhood after all", with the only hints of internal conflict in the friend group being Mari and Sunny's stress with recital practice.I think a stronger message would have been if they didn't discover Basil's real photo album until towards the end, and it showed lots of moments of happiness but also elements of tension that should have been addressed. Hints of Aubrey having a dysfunctional home and Kel immaturely dismissing her, or Basil defending Sunny doing something obviously wrong. The one thing we do get is Hero and Kel failing to act when Sunny drowned, but that isn't really reflected on as a flaw on their end so much to show Mari's heroism.
What's been bugging me about the photo album is that there are no photos for Aubrey or Mari's birthdays. Only Sunny and Basil doI get the lack of birthday photos for Kel and Hero, since their birthdays either take place before Basil got his camera or after Mari died. But not the two vaginas of the group.

There's nice locations to simply be and enjoy the atmosphere, like the Cattail field or ice lake spot. All under a gorgeous spacey sky. And the different songs that play in Otherworld are some of the best in Headspace in my opinion. Headspace is a wonderful place if you can push down the inherent sadness of some locations.I accumulated so much trash that depositing it into the recycling machine and listening to its tune added 25 or so minutes to the in-game play time. I regret none of the time spent listening to that tune repeat.
