It's like I want to get good at the game, I have this idea that it would be cool, but then I play and the game gives me mental cancer. Not because of the players, my team or any of that, it's just a pointless struggle for what exactly? I watched this guy called AloisNL play toplane in high elo because I play top too and basically he understands wave management really well, knows when to reset and what he wants to do in the match up he is playing, while tracking the enemy jungler and knowing the game state later on. This refined knowledge and awareness of the game mechanics builds him an incremental advantage over his opponents which accumulate mistakes over the course of the game allowing him to have a greater impact in the match increasing the probability of winning the game. And I was watching this dude do his thing and I thought is this what I want? Learn all this useless stuff to overpower others in a videogame? For what exactly? But then another part of me very egocentrically thinks man how come I can't learn and apply this stuff? But then I get into a game and I couldn't care less, I can't make my mind interested in it, it just doesn't care and all I can do is play like a bot, like legit plays so bad it's difficult to do it worse than that. Sometimes I'm even very aware of what's going on, I know that the things I'm doing will lead to some really bad outcome.
