So this was announced THREE times in the three panels, first in the V Jump stage, then in the Divers (yes, the videogame) stage and finally in the Daima stage where they revealed it's the story about how Trunks started to admire superheroes (which I guess it lines up with how Toyotaro said Toriyama had to reveal stuff about Trunks to him for him to accept the guy would become a superhero fan boy like that).And it's released in February. Two months from now. We are two months into Daima and that was apparently half of the series. So this oneshot will drop when Daima ends or is just about to end. I think it's fair to assume this one-shot will end with the announce of the new arc that uses elements from Daima like the leaks said.

I think the reason DB fanmangas don't really go anywhere is that they all try to either 1: A 'new / next gen' type of deal, which has never worked for DB, even Toriyama himself gave up or 2: An 'ensemble cast' type thing where they try to make everyone matters equally while also adding 'lore' and stuff, which also doesn't work because we end up drowning in OCs and so many parallels plotlines that none of them can really progress to any real extend.
