I stopped playing DD2 and launched Dark Arisen. Should I do Normal mode or Hard mode? I tried the tutorial and enemies seem to pretty much deal 4x damage and have 3x knockdown resistance.Now don't get me wrong I managed to have fun doing the tutorial and beat it after some tries but it seems like it was designed for ng+ rather than a fresh save.

Either way, if there's a problem with either the server or your connection, you'd see pic related spinning for a bit, then you'd get an error message that would kick you back to the main menu, these are actually rare these days, a few months ago the server was quite unstable, nowadays if you do get disconnected it's probably more due to a bug than actual server instability.

fougth my first Chimera outside the tutorial, that thing just started running at me and I kid you not 20 Lizzard people came running straight after. Keept walking after beating them and there were a lot of falling rocks and a fully armored cyclops but he forgot to put on his Jockstrap that morning. Than night fell, I heard loud footsteps and saw a shadow in the dark which I can't identify could have been a Chimera as well but I'm not sure so I just ran away.

>>507484321What I mean is that the stats you get from levelling up are really not significant at all, they won't make a big difference in the end so it's not worth sticking to a vocation mostly for the stat growth, you should be able wear whatever you want and do fine, if you feel like you're getting hit for a lot of damage just use the Bastion augment, the only thing you should really care about stat-wise is probably your weapon.

Also, it's a good idea to min-max your pawn because pawns are dumb and they need all the help they can get.
