Way before I got into MTG I wanted to play through all FF mainline games but I was too lazy to get started, the announcement of the set was the motivation I needed, so I can immediately recognize all the characters and events.In 2 months I already managed to complete 1 to 5, I just started playing 6 today, I'm pretty damn sure I can get the rest done before spoiler season for the set starts, specially since I'll be skipping 11 and 14 since I don't play MMOs.
