The biggest problem with the supposed "Worldsoul Saga" is that it hasn't really appeared that the first entry is setting anything up at all. I had a feeling it was mostly marketing but it's clear they have no idea how a trilogy works or even a "multi-expansion story" like the ffxiv MSQ which is what they seem to be trying to create (calm down im not saying it's good im just saying they clearly want to make the Blizzard Version, they've been lifting stuff from other IPs for decades).This is supposedly the first part of a trilogy but the only real story has been that some earthen gave up on following their orders, there's a random expedition of humans near a glowing crystal, and xally took over the spider empire. You take care of these things and then....idk, that's it? Xalatath gets her crystal cracked and in terms of any overarching story that's it. Then Midnight and TLT are suddenly all about existing areas and ideas.You can even see the pivot partway through development. Every story element that was put on beta was finished except for the endgame campaign, which originally didn't feature the factions much but expanded them near the end. They removed a line where Alleria said we can't be Alliance or Horde anymore and then 6 months later put out a short story showing faction conflict that isn't immediately resolved.

Silver/copper mats can be used to create gold products, but at this point in the xpac the market is so saturated that you need resourcefulness of MC procs for that to even be profitable. Which also means that using golds to create w/o ingenuity is a gold loss. This system is worse than the DF system for crafters.
