I am working on a concept for a Knuckles spin off game that i plan to pitch to Sega, i even got concept art for new characters that fits with the Knuckles Chaotix side of the universe.I plan on building up a dev team and studio first as well as a portfolio of game to increase reputation so this won't happen until a long while but i still wanna know my chances of making the pitch a success.

Is it fair to say that i have no hope for this character being handled or written well?Based on the teasers she is not only the GUN agent doing research on Gerald's journals (Professor Tori) but also the sister or niece of Maria, but that doesn't make sense to me as this would be a major retcon as Maria having a sister was never brought up before but also wouldn't you think that a relative of Gerald who is doing research on his journals would want to talk with Shadow, a guy who personally knew Gerald and works with GUN as well?I just feel like the way this character is created she might through a wrench in how Shadow's story has been handled with the amount of retcons and questions her existence would raise.Feel like Sega wanted to make a big new important character to expand on the story (And to have more human characters for the movies to save on animation costs) but it feels like fanfic OC writing with her being shoved into the story and history of the Robotnik family.The teases of this character so far feels like the writers giving contradictions and mass retcons involving her character without even thinking about them or the implications of such a character existing in this universe.I hope i am wrong, i hope they keep her simple, but i do not expect much from this era of Sonic where everything has to connect to everything for some reason.But those are just my thoughts.
