But the general conditions I'm aiming to satisfy is how wikipedia describes it: "Each stanza consists of a four-line verse (in 88.88 meter with an AABB rhyme scheme)"I'm don't want any deliberate christian/religious overtones. Just the Undertale story/history as it's own thing, but phrasing it in a way that feels powerful, ancient, even sacred. The sort of thing that makes your hair stand on end a bit. I hate to be a /pol/fag but it's unironically Toby's politics that cause him to make all his villains sympathetic and wronged instead of genuine assholes. It's a part of modern progressivism to be open to others and see them as not being bad because some people are bad, but instead as people who are bad because something has happened to them to cause them to be that way. This causes people to see villains as just good people that need rehabilitation or therapy, and once they get those resources they can be goody two-shoes again.

On the topic of the morality of villains who have been driven to insanity, those types of villain usually did something terrible to their family and close ones long before they were ever driven fully insane and evil. I can think of plenty of examples off the top of my head but here's the french MMORPG/kids cartoon version. My man Nox finds a magical macguffin plot device that drives him completely insane, and drives his family away. His family naturally dies tragically in a big raid boss world altering event, and he is convinced in his insanity that he can bring them back by using enough pure magic energy to turn time backwards which is straightforward and logical enough given that he worships a time god that makes time move forward and keeps track of it like a clock would. This leads to Nox killing dragons and full blown genocidal rampages on entire tree hugging druid peoples to steal their magic power which is called wakfu in their world, and he's fully aware that he's doing some real evil but is convinced that he will either succeed and nobody will know what he did or will fail and die.He's a tragic bad guy with nothing to lose and he's doing it for his family and he's very much insane, but he's also absolutely a true bad guy who could have lived his life doing none of that. His actions gets a main character killed. Nox however does get 20 minutes of the 200 years he needed to turn backwards which barely undoes his plant person genocide, the main party needed about 30 minutes to not have that main character die. Wakfu is a shitshow, 6/10 you should watch Dofus instead.
