Pushing an update with new art and voice lines probably sends more data than actually playing it for 4 hours. The game itself does nothing but send a few kilobytes of "you inherited this skill" or "you sent this character home". At one point hackers were manipulating battles proving the server doesn't do hardly anything. This shit could run on an old laptop and home wifi.
