I wonder what speedruns of part 3 will look like once they start happening.I suppose it's just about routing the quickest gems/equipment to abuse Crisis Luka with 0 encounters turned on? Should be doable enough on Very Easy. However calamities aren't a complete pushover even on Very Easy so I wonder what the easiest to find equipment is that allows Luka to roll through the game. Maybe just taking Micaela's equipment at the start of chaos route and giving it to Luka would work? Does Cheesing NoLifeKing early open up anything?
Oh that's quite nice!I want to ask though, do the Chaos versions of Absorb [X] abilities work like absorb did in earlier versions where healing from one element in the attack will stop you from being hurt by any part of it? Like if Reina got hit by a Hadron/Nuclear move would she still absorb it even though she isn't immune to Hadron yet (for some reason)?I'm asking because I ran into an absurd scenario during the fight with Dark Phoenix where after using Wind Guard Kill on it at one point Reina used Divine Wind to combo into WASF and the boss completely absorbed and healed from the first attack but then kept taking Wind Damage from the Fans and wasn't immune to Vast Galaxy Dance (Wind/Hadron/Galactic) either.

I managed to make 50 Great Harpy Gems once I realized how badly I needed them if I wanted to actually gear up more than just the Mainstays and began to actually arrange Mini's abilities and properly build her. Due to her traits encouraging you to go all-in on racial skills she's got Monster Nature to buff her since the lock won't matter if she's only using them anyways. Mini's really starving for more AP however as I had to put in four SP reduction gems just to bring her skills down to a manageable price and she can't actually afford the triple chain yet either and has to use the original Harpy Chain. For people who recruited her later this would probably be a little annoying, but since I blitzed to save her as soon as possible it's honestly not that bad since Mini's actually pretty on the level with everybody else in the party in terms of her AP availability so she isn't lacking at all.Once I got all of that taken care of and geared her up (including giving her the Book and Gems I got from her fight, it only felt right to me) we went to see how strong Mini had currently become.She's ready bros.My Wife and I are so proud.Also she's doing more damage with Phoenix Wing's Rise than Divine Wind and I love that

After getting my ass kicked up and down the game I started the Singularity arc and I've been kicking ass, Constanze a cute, bitch at first but the minute Luka shows off his heroism she immediately folds, taking on a chaoized behemout and not immediately dying means she must be pretty tough for a human, can't wait to see her again.side note, it's good to see Mecha pope is okay but man is he gonna be pissed off when he founds out what happened to his house after all this. On another side note, Is there any point in Marcellus going through the other doll jobs? they don't seem to have any swords skills for him just singing

And Miracle song (3x XP and Job XP, stacks with Lucky song and the more xp passives) is locked behind those singing doll races, none of the signing jobs learn it. So you could have him become an XP booster, amusingly.Also, there's a Forbidden Apoptosis race that requires another Forbidden Apoptosis race, + one of the following: Beast Forbidden Race, Ghost Forbidden Race, or Doll Forbidden Race. So that's another reason to have him learn it.But you don't need to learn the singing doll jobs to get to the sealed and forbidden one, so you can ignore it if you want. I personally think more users of Miracle Song is always good though.

We're on the second try now and holy shit this might actually be doable!Reina's been sticking to buffing with her dances and singing for most of the fight but I took the chance to try and sneak out one Galaxy Dance and she managed to barely withstand the counterattack.As an aside I can't help but feel like the boss's other gimmick is a lot more interesting of an idea to me and feels significantly more fitting for them; Poison Guard Kill to force everyone to be susceptible to taking damage over time would be a really awesome concept for a tanky RPG boss that tries to grind you down with attrition but it gets completely overshadowed by her just spamming counterattacks every time you try to land a hit unless you're countering yourself.And the fact that Doctor can also now just remove PGK and then make everyone immune again, so I don't even get the point of it being here if they're going to take advantage of it.I actually managed to reflect PGK back onto her though and at first thought "oh hey, the game will actually allow me to negate her immunity with her own skill as well!" but turns out no, it doesn't work like LoC Est and she can't get poisoned even if you PGK her.The first run ended from me trying to do that and her forcing the restart to keep Reina from going down when she countered Dire Curse Dance (twice).

>>507841481It's kind of funny how Part 2's confrontation between them ultimately came down to Shikimamo being right, and Tinymamo was wrong since she joins in on the genocide plan.It's why the Ilias choice was superior, the monsters in the Alice route have no principles, they follow whoever is the strongest.

>>507839754FUCK that was close!Reina summoned Salamander and the fire boost on top of the conditional practically tripled her offensive power but I was careless and went for her Harpy Kick -> Fan combo out of muscle memory; if she hadn't won the fight then and there we might've had to do another reset.I'm not even using the Phoenix Fan either as that adds Nuclear Strike, she's still got Sun and Moon equipped. It's a tense boss but it felt good to take her down.Miu and Mini definitely helped a ton too though, and both actually kept up with her damage until the conditionals got triggered (in fact Mini did more than Reina until that).
