Whether that complete story is GOOD remains to be seen, but it has to be better than what we have now so there will be at least some warming up to DT over time as a result. Its still probably doomed to be seen as the worst expansion, though, just because it has such weak characters overall and doesn't do enough new.

Make sure your pasture is 100% capacity. have a variety of animals so you get all times of leavings. do the middle quality food, not the high quality food.2. make sure your farm is 100% full and as much variety as you can do.3. do NOT automate your pasture/crops with the mammets, you dont get any exp from it if you do.4. build all empty plots/upgrades as soon as you unlock them5. have your workshop agenda filled out every daydont spam crafts, island sanctuary takes time to get to max level. just enter your island once a day, fill out the next days workshop agenda, send out granaries, take care of crops/animals, and you're done. i HIGHLY recommend joining the island sanctuary discord(its called "Overseas Casuals"). every day there's a bot that will tell you what to craft in the worksop every day for maximum profit. also has guides on basically every aspect of the island. also dont worry about the huge exp requirements. some levels you'll clear in a single day because you'd get a side quest from tataru that'll give you a huge exp boost.

I don't think it would have made a difference, but it would have meant a lot if you had done something. That's not to say that any of it was your fault, just that there was something nice you could have done that would have helped the situation. Aether is the most populated and is the 'raiding' DC.Crystal is more the social DC, and where most of xivg hangs out.Primal is the PVP DC and also has a large south american population.Dynamis is the newest DC and least populated.My personal recommendation is make your character on Dynamis, as you get a massive EXP boost that is virtually permanent(choose a preferred world.) You also get a million gil for free and lots of open plots for houses if you want one eventually. You can then just travel to the other DC's for content if you're struggling to fill duties.Otherwise, the other DC's are good choices. Like I said it doesn't matter much since you can travel between them. But at least on Dynamis you get some pretty nice buffs/bonuses.
