Just recently rewatched Silver's 06 story because I wanted to compare the English and Japanese dialogue back to back.I actually really liked both. I can see where people are coming from with Japanese Silver sounding cooler but I don't think the English voice necessarily ruins Silver. Between the two, it feels like JP is more prone to trying to put up a strong front to hide his feelings while ENG can't help but wear his emotions on his sleeve, but the basis of what his character is doesn't strike me as being that different.Blaze was way worse than I remember though, she's extremely out of place in his story and even HE ignores her in most cutscenes. At best he might glance in her direction once or twice but even that's rare. You can definitely feel how last minute she was, even Amy felt more significant. The pierside scene and ending scene were still nice, if they really do an 06 remake I hope they do her justice.Well really it'd probably be better if it was rewritten to be an entirely different OC who doesn't fuck up the continuity but that's obviously too late.

Got back from the movie, I agree with the sentiment that it's probably the best of the three but the Jim Carrey funnyman schtick has kinda run its course in this series, especially in 3. The Gerald vs Eggman "fight" was terrible.

I wrote a whole post already but the page refreshed and erases it all.I saw the movie with Energy a week or so ago, and it was great. Tails was great. Shadow and Knuckles both felt like good uses of Dark Sonic and Anti Sonic.Sonic isn't Sonic, though. Still. Even after three movies. He's still more Silver than Sonic. I loved the low budget flights line, though. I love that Amy is officially in the movies now, with Metal.Gerald was Nega. I like to think of Eggman as Ansem from Kingdom Hearts while Nega is Xemnas, and Gerald is Xehanort before he split into the two. This Gerald feels like if he lived on and then went down the Nega path, though it's just an expansion of his whole revenge plot in SA2 anyway. Energy loved the movie as well, but still doesn't like Movie Sonic himself. He liked when he got serious, though, but we both hate the "kid" thing and family emphasis. Anyway, the movie is awesome. Because i can't post on my computer (bad internet, captcha can't load properly), I'm not gonna be very active for a while until it's fixed. I just thought I should check in and share my thoughts on the movie and stuff. That's all.
