Got an invite to the Diamond Heist. Animation got stuck, trapping me inside and the host left when the gas flipped on.Every single time I've done this heist something like this happened. One time the scripting got hung up and we stood around staring at an elevator for twenty minutes hoping it was a finite loading screen like in free roam that would eventually resolve itself (it didn't). Another time an NPC's vision cone clipped through a wall, the alarm went up and the host then immediately left out instead of trying to play it out or even restarting. Sometimes people just die, a car gets knocked around and explodes or whatever, shit happens. I really don't get their narrow threshold of tolerance. What exactly are you expecting when the heist is so fucking buggy and you are inviting randoms? Are they actually finding other autists at a high enough rate to 100% these missions and make it worth it? Am I simply incompetent and mad about it?

Dense cities are fun if they are teeming with interactable environments that offer fun and excitement like Yakuza does, but the GTA4 LC is incredibly sparse on acity whereas there is a ton of stuff going on in GTAV and unique cool encounters, hitchhikers etc.

>>521147190I haven't used it much myself to be fair. I've mostly played on xbox so there's no text chat, console has never had that for some reason. Really stupid they turned it off by default, people almost never use it now, at all. At least before some numb nuts crunching chips or blasting rap music in a race lobby reminded you that it existed. Most people forget now. At least on console you can invite players to a party chat (different channel than the in game voice chat). My main issue with voice chat is a touch of autism. I prefer chats in old COD that still manage to be full of playful shit talk and slurs because you ironically get along with people better that way. There's no bonding whatsoever in modern game chats and it's either just varying degrees of awkward or it's a FOTM game and everyone's yelling or blasting revolutionary war flutes. At least that's my experience.
