You know, if a game is reported to undersell it's expectations by it's own publisher, it's universally lambasted as the worst entry in the franchise, it lost *checks notes* 98% of it's playerbase within a week and never got more, the team that made it has been disbanded and said there probably won't be another DA game for a long time, and even long time fans who liked every other entry hated it, you can just ignore some retard who denies all of these things. If someone denies facts, you can dismiss them as either trolling or delusional and you don't have to dutifully respond every time they post some nonsense. You're either falling for a troll, or entertaining delusions. Neither case is a good use of your time.As a long time DA fan who bought the game and played it through on release, I know firsthand that it's a genuinely bad game. If I don't trust my own judgement, I can check the steam player charts and see that everyone left immediately after the initial name-recognition fueled sales numbers. I can see that a portion of the positive reviews follow a certain unnatural pattern as if they're following a script. I can see that it's been on sale for over half off almost immediately and for most it's life on steam. Why even bother dutifully biting the bait hook every time someone puts in zero effort and just says "It was actually good and you're just an idiot if you think otherwise".I'm genuinely sad that it was bad. I preordered the expensive edition because I've loved DA since I was a kid. I even liked 2 and 3 which had their fair share of detractors but they were still good where it mattered most so I liked them. I was prepared for another bumpy ride but still fundamentally good game like the others. So I already had grief when the new one was shit.
