The game didn't bother trying to tell some grandiose narrative to the player directly and instead let them learn about the world from the small interactions they had while questing and or doing dungeons in it. They also handled the game's traveling nicely, making you have to wait til 40 to get a mount and 60 to get a fast mount forced the players to have to take potentially dangerous paths they might not come back from and to be more careful while traveling. While some specs were just fucked overall each class felt distinct and unique from each other and making pally exclusive to ally and shaman exclusive to horde gave factions unique checks and balances to handle.
the blackpill is that classic+ will never work in WoW's original format. They would have to make huge sweeping changes and move to a mostly horizontal progression system which WoW freshtards would never settle for.
