It undermines the hypocrisy that he's soaked in and also misses the contradiction of glorifying his human status while also despising humans as much as the half-marchens.There are also all kinds of minor errors like "Despite being a surface insect," which should be "Despite being an underground-dwelling insect,", the mistaken TL doesn't make sense because the context is the insulted understands that the moon is falling, despite never seeing a real one because they lived underground. These errors happen throughout the entire game.

It just happens a lot more often in Finale. The final boss and everything beyond it plus the Locked Up in Love DLC are the most butchered parts, the script is just blatantly wrong sometimes.
