The last several raids I had today was every raider being completely silent, gunfire going off all over the map, flares up all over, I run into a dude who doesn't have his weapon out and I see him freak out so I say "hey bro im just running past" and no response instantly pulls out a stitcher and shoots at me. The game doesn't seem to be graphically intensive at all. The lighting engine is just very good, and good lighting works wonders for making a game look pretty. Alright, I've enhanced my door blocker technique. Here's the guide for anybody that wants to have some fun.>collect a bunch of those red, deployable synthesized fuel drums pre-game, or find them in the wild (certain spots almost always have them). You only need two per plan execution>bring a door blocker>find a small room with a single door-blockable door and no other exits (closer to a loot spot, the better)>deploy synthesized fuel drum inside the room, close to the doorway>leave the room, deploy door blocker on outside of door>wait until another player shows up>act friendly and laugh about how you managed to lock another raider inside the room with a door blocker>either convince the player to 1) help you kill the "trapped raider" or 2) allow them to "convince you" to free them, depending on your victim's morality>either scenario results in the player opening the door and entering the room>shoot one of the fuel canisters to trigger a one-shot explosive trap at their feetFuel canisters work best I've found because they don't make any noise. Players are more likely to rush into a room when they don't hear traps on the other side of the door.

This game needs some sort of phoenix kit like mechanic for solos. Friedslop faggots can revive each other as many times as they want, but when you're playing solo getting grazed by a stray rocket can mean losing everything. Green kits and above should be able revive themselves once after being downed. Maybe more at higher rarities. It won't save you from being knocked out after being downed, but in a FFA gunfight, or after being downed by ARC, you could try to slip away in the commotion and get another chance.

Am I a noob or is the Rattler just not good? Level 1-2 is straight up not worth using at all. 3+ needs mods for it to be viable. It's ok at tap firing at range. Anything else it just kind of blows or is beaten out by the other weapons. Long range? Farro. Short? Spammable SMGs, really great pistols, or a shotgun. What does it do well at all really? Seems like a "trap" weapon where all of your upgrades are better spent elsewhere and any items/money invested is also better elsewhere.

Town Hall in Buried City is the scariest locked room I've gone into so far. You're right next to the park where there's a big ARC sometimes and also where people (used to, at least in the first days of the game) farm lemons and apricots. There's a bunch of rooms to loot then you gotta jump out the window and sprint to the hatch.

Free loadouts shouldn't be removed, but they should be downgraded from "viable as fuck" to "desperation option". When I first played the tutorial with that pile of shit gun, I thought "oh damn I'm gonna progress from this crap to some good shit". 25 hours later and I've got several green and blue guns I'm probably just going to recycle like I did with the Bettina, because most of them suck ass and I like the Kettle and Ferro too much, and even without upgrades it has been all I've needed.
