They could have had him actively attacking Azuz in a cutscene or something to get at fuel for the everforge or whatever. They could have done something like the Velkhana intro fight where you have to fight him in his first phase form for a while until you deal a certain amount of damage and then he leaves temporarily, THEN Werner does all his autism about the dragontorch energy, the railgun, and the info about using fire weapons to melt the oil before using dragon damage. The fight itself is okay, and I do like being part of a bigger team, but I'd like it if siege missions were more like that where you have split roles during a bigger monster fight. Also, the Proof of a Hero pop was pretty weak. It coming after an attack you've already seen before was pretty lame. I skipped Gen 4 games, so I have no nostalgia for any of the NPCs or the monster itself.
