This is also why you are told by voters in different cities that they don't think you're being all that realistic either but if they had to choose between you or someone like Julian that literally wrote a book about a 10+ year plan for a fantasy green new deal picking you increases their chances of having problems they actually give a shit about getting addressed in their lifetimes.
It's a story about what politics actually mean and what impact they actually have, and how people see them instead of being 50+ hours of how person A will completely change the world in 4 years or how person B doesn't agree with them for great justice and will also completely change the world in 4 years which is a lot of what makes it so compelling to a lot of people and what makes it different from pretty much every "fantasy with politics" game out there.

Either way, you keep going off on your own personal politics when we're talking about the game and it's cast.
The main party's motto for the game is "we'll help anyone in need" and they only do this as a clutch because their real objective is simply being in the gaunlet for the sake of the Prince.
Even when they do things that involve helping people through quests and other things in the story, it's minimal stuff like errands like delivering medicine or giving a woman more food (and you can't say these don't count or don't matter because they raise your vote count, effectively making you know that these gestures are making people vote for you)
The game makes a point that "change can't happen overnight" and that people can't promise "we'll kill all the rich tomorrow and abolish all taxes" without the implications that entails and how that's not a viable solution to all problems, but this is not deep. Even though there's evil sanctists like Forden making Sanctism be seen like a religion of subjugation and fear, the game still tells you that Not All Sanctists are like that and you can't take people's faith away just because you don't like them. Hence why there's still an active Sanctist church with a redeemed Gideaux at the end.
But that's not anything deep, "realism" isn't deep. Just because you're used to JRPG plotlines where saving the day and saving people can be solved through magic and brainwashing like in P5 doesn't mean that Metaphor is saying anything revolutionary.
And if you genuinely need a japanese videogame to tell you basic shit like

These are things invaluable to more than just political leaders btw, which should've hopefully been made obvious by how every single follower is a example of a different kind of leader be it in the community, in business etc. People that have successful careers live by a lot of these ideas while people that don't tend not to. You can say none of these ideas are important or meaningful as much as you want, it won't make it true but I will enjoy watching you act contrary to all these ideas and wonder why everything still sucks before blaming it on whatever the fuck that has next to nothing to do with your life or circumstances years from now

Found some tiny remnants of an old layout for Sunlumeo Street not used by the game. One of the various unused fields crashes the game when you try to load it because it tries to import the contents of these files which don't exist in the final build.
Might've been part of an old instance where the main road and the bazaar + cathedral entrance were all on the same map. In the final game there's just a mainStreet_01 and a mainStreet_02 instead of all this.

People ask for rerelease almost by inertia due to the feeling of Atlus intentionally gimping their games so they can dump the new version along the years. That's why you have people (with Metaphor) desperately clinging to some sort of DLC or the supposed scrapped Mage Academy not entirely due to "needing a constant stream of content" but because of the perceived feeling of the game feeling incomplete.
Even during the time of P5 having an actual legitimate stream of content (spinoffs, anime, collabs) most people started to slowly not care anymore.
Unless P6 also feels incomplete (for whatever reason), then people would be complaining for a new version that includes whatever so-called new content they want.
People also aren't liking the prospect of Atlus just pumping out remakes either even if it means getting dripfed content.

You're aware of how much money P5X is actually making right? It long since passed the profits of anything in their catalogue besides metaphor or p5r, and that's with the number of fuckups they've had
P5X was literally the most dropped game on steam in 2025 by a wide margin, and most people drop P5X because the early game story is retarded, and they had actual atlus writers taking to social media to reassure fans that it gets better. That's the success they had WITH that level of fuckup. Of course they slurp up live service.
And this garbage about the mage academy is pure coping at this point. This is why it's exclusively persona fans that think there needs to be a dungeon there and no one else so much as makes a peep about that part of the game. Not because it would actually do anything for the game or the plot, which they can never explain what it would do for either, but because that's what the P4 and P5 format dictates should be there and it not being there interferes with their programming. The game already parted ways with that format after 2 dungeons, and it was already nothing like P5 in the first place because the introduction happens in 4-5 different areas instead of in one place the entire time, but these same retards will say that the side content in Metaphor is on par with Mementos in P5 because they are actually that stupid.
The only thing that people who want to wait for the rereleases actually come up with, with 0 deviation mind you because they're in a low income hivemind, is the argument original suddenly becoming worthless when in reality the re-releases are always different enough from vanilla that the rerelease can end up borderline losing something fundamental about the original game. Actually in the case of P3-5 this happened every single time, but they don't like hearing that because it invalidates their purchasing decisions.

They whine about rereleases because they don't have money. End of story.

I still don't know why didn't they do this. It didn't need a whole re-recording to replace Koyasu with Greg Chun either, just simply translate them.
But then again, Metaphor's marketing was so weird. They even had some mini politician guy do a PR for it in JP and Atlus West had that "we'll select some guy that can become royalty for this one small island" campaign that never seemed to have been mentioned again.
It makes me sad how much they used More for marketing initially then completely dropped him post-release to the point he doesn't even get merch anymore...

It's not like it's badly printed or anything, but it feels cheap given that it's still just recycled artwork over and over.
The book merch is unique because it comes in different ways (a pouch, a box, a lamp, a metallic pin) but everything else is just the standard.

Maybe you're new to buyfagging and have never seen merch in your life before but most of the things released are just really the bare standard for most franchises. The exhibition shit is just also still acrylics, tapestries, postcards, stickers, keychains, badges so it's nothing that I haven't seen before. The only good thing from the exhibition was the Louis canvas, but having had bought P25th canvas before I knew it was going to be small and not a proper painting canvas.
I don't know what "acrylic to be bolted to a wall" you mean other than the concert one because every other acrylic is small as fuck like the Isetan ones.
The only unique merch released are the perfumes and the super groupies collab merch (but this is also not that unique, plenty of other franchises get those collabs).
So maybe you are only just experiencing merch releases.
