The KV-2 is so good. The premium version with the coaxial mg is worth it over the tech tree version without it because it lets you do something on the long reload downtime, even with the slow turret traverse that makes it sluggish to track enemies. If the hull mg becomes functional in commander/gunner view it'll be even better.

German BR III is actually unplayable, this is awful. If you get put against the Soviets you just lose instantly, and against the US you lose slowly. It feels like how the Soviets used to be where they just sort of wander around the map not doing anything. I had a guy on my team who went, like, 3 kills 11 deaths. What's more, your teammates will complain about Russian Bias as they get bulldozed, as if they don't have their own selection of OP as fuck gear to deploy.It's really just taken as a given among Axis mains that the Soviets are OP and you will lose against them and you have no way of fighting back, so just ignore all your advantages like the ZK, MG 34, VG 1-5, et cetera. The post-buff VG 1-5 really is extremely strong, too. It's basically an assault rifle you can put on every troop.

D-Day really fucking sucks. It was barely tolerable when the Americans could capture points nearly instantly with 1-4 guys on them. Now it's just horrible. The Germans never even get on the cap, they just deathbox it and it's more or less impossible to get into position. It's blatantly, overtly meant to be balanced around the US having access to P-47s and Jumbos with near-instant capture times.

I hate Artillery Kill tasks. Some of the worst in the game because they are totally out of your control. Sometimes you get 30 kills in one strike, others you can't even get one per strike. The only worse task is capture points, because that IS totally random and needs to be replaced with "get objective kills". At least my BP is done.

Recently switched my Germany lineup to br3. The vg 1-5 is pretty good huh? I always thought it was underrated and the buff seems to have made it actually kind of nuts

The cannon is less effective than I thought it would have been against armor because of the mixed belt. HE struggles to penetrate and AP struggles to do damage. Unless you're fighting planes and land a shot on a bomber in which case the bomber completely disintegrates, wings and tail flying off with one shot which is funny and satisfying. I found the most effective way to destroy tanks was to come in low, flat, and perpendicular to the long side of the hull. That gives the best chance for the solid shot to intersect with ammo stowed against the hull wall. I tried initially shooting from steeper dive angles but I just got hit markers with random tank component damage. You really have to aim for the ammo rack, or at least the engine to start a fire.It's fast and turns decently well enough. The flaps can be abused without getting ripped off. It doesn't compress coming out of a dive as bad as other planes like the P-47 or Fw 190. But yeah, ammo count and ammo type would be my main complaints with it just based off the practice range.
