Is this game beginner friendly? A friend sent me a snap shot of his last game last night playing for a the first time and they somehow managed to lose a 6v2 with the other team entirely disconnecting while his team had a 20 death Vindicta and 18 death Haze. This was like low level ranked into 40 minutes. Is that normal for beginning games or?

It's complicated but you can pick it up by playing fairly naturally. The main issue is matchmaking is fucky right now and putting new players in games they shouldn't be in.

The problem with Silver is that if she's behind she doesn't contribute anything. And if she's ahead she only contributes damage.
My Dynamo and Lash can feed their ass off all game but they land one good ult and the game is still over

IceFraud has the incorrect decision to balance it like Enigma's Black Hole, where in Dota it has much more of a psychological element to it because of things like Blink's longer relative range, fog of war, shorter offensive ranges for all characters and highground mechanics. It generates value passively by discouraging risky plays.
Dynamo's is still threatening, sure, but it's not as psychologically threatening, there are loads of long range attacking options and less chance for long range initiation.

Yes and no. It's extremely complex, possibly as much as Dota because despite the itemization/mechanics being simpler it still has the aiming and 3D movement to add a ton of depth to it.
However, being a TPS means it's WAY more intuitive to people who have played normal video games before, whereas most mobas don't come naturally unless you're an RTS player or something. It has a huge learning curve and you will likely get your ass reamed for the first dozen games by something you don't understand, but if you pay attention and don't tilt you'll improve very quickly. It's very fun once you do and there's nothing else quite like it.

its very intuitive because unlike most MOBAs the match pacing isn't set in stone, camps and objectives spawn, but what you do per game is more dictated by your team and the enemy team rather than the timers. The big map boss is only done generally if enemy team wants to contest it or if you get a wipe on them before the walkers are down, camps are a nice bonus but not mandatory if you keep killing the creeps.
Just get a hang of what the combat wants from you and keep aware of the map and you don't need to tryhard. This isn't like League where if you haven't killed all jungle camps by 3:10 your team instantly lost. Also building is very flexible, you can focus on any part of a character you want instead of them only being playable with one type of build.

how? Silver's gun isn't like Ashe where your entire damage revolves around constant snap aim shots. Just vaguely shoot in the enemy's direction at relatively close range. Firerate is absolutely the go to for her.

I think I've started to get queued into games with people who actually try, cause fights are getting harder and people are better at positioning during laning, and yet I barely see any matches where people go for midboss or the urn thing. Why are the numbers on Silver's abilities aside from Lycan Curse so low?
It's not like they have tiny cooldowns, they're just bizarrely low numerically.

Started playing the other day and encountered a bug just now
I bought a lot of purple items
The money investment thing seems to have overflowed and ended up giving me an empty purple bar + when I moused over it showed I had spent 0 money on purples(obviously not true)
When I held Tab and looked at the left side of my screen my spirit power was also very low so I don't think it's just a UI bug
Selling and repurchasing one of my purple items(I picked at random so I forgot which one) fixed it and my purple bar was maxed out again
