>>557154057>Is protection warrior actually bad in TBC?Prot warriors follow a curve where they're mogged to death while leveling 1-60 because nuking multiple packs is the standard strat and warriors have garbage AoE, they pick up a bit in outland dungeons where nuking becomes less viable and they're easily the best choice for heroics but once people start getting Kara gear druids and pallies pull away because they have better gear scaling. Prot warriors have always been the "slow and steady" tanks because they have the most defensive abilities but when everyone is fully raid-buffed and BiS'd out and is pumping hard then warriors have a hard time keeping up unless they're on the bleeding edge of gear progression and very skilled. Why are prots used so infrequently?Droods have absolutely monstrous scaling and pallies get stacked for multi-target threat and both of them have utility outside of boss tanking. My experience with Druids is limited but since agility both works as an offensive and defensive stat, and with stamina being really high on all their gear, if you need a tank that can just soak attacks, Druids would be it.I've always seen it as Warriors = Physical damage, Paladins = too many targets, Druids = spell damage
