I don't think Kris is meant as "non-binary" the way the really liberal fans think, BUT the in-game text is undeniably consistent and clear that they/them is the correct pronoun to use in reference to the character. (I mean correct in the sense that this is the internal rule the story sets up and follows, I'm not talking specifically in the ideological/identity sense) Insistently doing otherwise and referring to them with male pronouns is something you can do, sure. You shouldn't be censored or cancelled for that and the moralizing about it is insane.
