i like this game's aesthetic but i don't find it very fun. missions are lame, enemies are barren and stupid, and there's too much looting going on. give me less frequent but more quality loot. give me good contracts that encourage combat. give me decent enemy variety and intelligence. i really want it to be good but idk fellas. for some reason game devs seem to have an aversion to making fun combat encounters and prefer to fill their games with grindy busywork.

Does the UESC send random patrols through various map POIs? I swear i visited Hauler twice and it was empty while i started clearing it out, then the whole fucking building was swamped with invisible fuckers.

140K peak going down to 80K and losing 10K everyday for the next 2 days is not catastrophic by any means, there's not a whole lot to do in the server slam version, people played and saw the progression then said they'll wait for release cause what's the point of progressing when it's over in 2 days?

Word to mouth brings in a lot of fresh players, while the opposite happens in cases where the game doesn't launch off as some smash hit so the overall population drops when there isn't a constant influx of new players. Nobody anywhere is saying that the game will break even or even have as huge of an audience that Arc does just that it isn't going to launch into a complete stillbirth. Considering Bungie's track record, even that is in and of itself a miracle.

I am a little surprised how difficult this game is. Honestly I think they’d have better odds at success if they made it more casual friendly. I’m not sure if that would make the game better overall, mind you. But it might attract a wider audience. I don’t think the game is gonna “fail,” nor do I think Sony will destroy Bungie.
