Trying the Aztec city builder. Just doing the tutorial right now and I'm pretty impressed by the amount of mechanics present even at this point of the game, they clearly took the impressions games model and then added few layers on top which was a thing I was worried about (as in just clone with a different skin which this is not). At the same time there's some extremely weird jank that one would think wouldn't get past the testing phase. Generally impressed with how the game looks and sound, though I think some of the buildings could use bits of animation to really bring this to 2026 standards, even the older impressions games had a non working and working sprite which made the city much livelier. Will play some more and report back later.
