But over time, due to ilvl bullshit and syncing and power creep/ability creep, older content just feels worse and worse. And current content is by and large very boring after the first or second run. Raids are the exception to this rule, so if you don't raid then you're shit out of luck. But even raiders solve their content relatively quickly and then have standardized guides up that you're expected to follow, so that content feels more like a homework assignment/rehearsal than anything else, particularly if you don't get in during the blind run periods very early on.
