Deadlock is such a weird fucking game, you've got a bunch of cool abilities and great movement tech that makes the gunplay and teamfights really fun to engage in. Unfortunately there's a lot of randomness with the cpu and it's like "hey good job on winning those 50 teamfights unfortunately you weren't doing enough PvE so now your base is fucked". I think one of the big issues with "x character is op" "Just buy defensive" is that while damage items have a ton of increments most of the good defense items are 6400 soul one offs that are hard to save for even late game while all the ones with components are healing items or life steal that don't feel good if youre already getting burst down. So your stuck with one or 2 3200 defensive's that rapidly become useless do to shred or armor piercing. Witchmail, and plate armor should build out of the resiliences and resiliences should get buffs.
