When you really think about it we have a lot of characters who's personality is "Hotheaded and cocky but still heroic when lives are at stake" specifically to counter Sonic. The whole debate about Archie/Satam characterization has another layer to it. If Sonic actually acted like those versions in the games he'd end up very similar to Jet, Silver, Tangle, or Surge. Give or take Silver that's four hotheaded cocky characters who like talking about how awesome they are and quip obnoxiously

I genuinely like the game, not as a guilty pleasure but nostalgia definitely does a lot of heavy lifting.As for the notes, those are just so I can make sure the character sounds like themselves if I write them. I'm biased towards Maekawa's writing in particular so I'm not exactly inclined to copy every game, but I want to keep count anyways.I know how incredibly autistic this must look lol. I didn't keep any character notes for the main series characters through Chronicles though, just Shade and the other characters introduced in the game.
