Granted she's more popular in terms of demand because well, she's a woman. Where as with a gay romance option in Flambae. I still think in terms of the writing and the foundation it could reasonably work. However, as you said people would hold grudges but that didn't stop Warhorse in their decision. I know, comparing apples and oranges at this rate but still. If they could be so bold I don't see why AdHoc wouldn't especially with Critical Role behind them.
