Nobuko likes dolls, and Yasuko likes shotas, and they both tease each other over it.The biggest success I've had with my writing this time around was properly conveying the brutality and indifference of a slavery based society. My characters have wildly different personalities, some of them cheerful and friendly, but everything changes when kemonomimis are involved. I perfectly captured the casual, matter-of-fact cruelty that is inherent to thinking that other people are inferior. Every single one of my characters displayed cruelty, even though I did not make them more or less racist than the others(except for the two girls I didn't release yet, but that's something else). Sometimes, I had happy/carefree/intimate scenes where characters simply acknowledged their disdain for non-humans.I did not make Yasuko's personal servant scenario specifically about kemonomimi, but I expect that's what some people will do. And I guarantee you, she will shower you with kindness and pretty words while simultaneously looking down on your entire existence. I found it particularly striking how she referred to me as a 'harmless toy' she owned.
