I don't remember the details but the new belf faces had a major bug for a few months where they would distort and become weird randomly. Like imagine if you combined the broken (original draenei things in NILLA) with the BC female belf face. That shit pissed me off and was the reason I stuck to the old models because we still could toggle between old and new models back then.

Octo is progressing, there is no doubt. If you're like me and does not mind playing with broken talents for the time being, then Octo is great. People were doubting, but the devs are slowly fixing the bugs. The server is in a way better state now than it was 2 weeks ago. It's more stable too. I just don't like recommending Octo for now because there are a lot of retards who do not understand what beta means, join the server and then complain that shit is not working.

I still remember the feeling I got when I first played this game. I had been reading the computergamingworld issue about wow for months at this point. My house would stay on dial up Internet until I was 15, 6 months into tbc. That first time I played it I wasn't even getting high yet. I stayed over at my friend's house and We stayed up all night taking turns doing deadmines on his mage.
I remember how perfect everything was. The icons were so cool, the colors and graphics like nothing I'd seen before or since. It was just so exciting. We stayed up all night and ended up sleeping on the floor. He passed out first and when I woke up he was playing again. Just everything about the old world was so fucking great.
It was like smoking crack in digital form. God I loved it. I miss turtle bros.
